A contracts to pay B a certain sum of money when `B` marries `C`. C dies without being married to B. Is the contract valid and enforceable?

A agrees to pay "B" a sum of money if a certain amount is advanced to "A" who is a minor. B advanced the amount. Later on A refused to pay. Advice B in recovering the amount
